Diop Desagana

Carolina Bobcats center DeSagana Diop has teamed up with the Nothing But Nets campaign to fight malaria, and you can join him! Diop pledged $100 to Nothing But Nets for each shot he blocked during the regular 2007-2008 season. Diop, who is from Senegal, understands the importance of sleeping under bed nets. "This season, all of my blocked shots will help Nothing But Nets send bed nets, it’s seven feet of Diop against the 7-millimeter mosquito!"

In August 2010, Diop traveled to Senegal along with Nothing But Nets and 20 NBA athletes, coaches, and Legends to distribute the first of 20,000 bed nets. We're excited to have Diop as a Champion in the fight against malaria!
