Nets and the Nuggets!

The NBA's Denver Nuggets recently hosted a Nothing But Nets malaria boot camp at the Pepsi Center. At the camp, Boys and Girls club kids from around the Denver area got to learn about malaria prevention and shoot hoops with NBA champion Mark Randall!
These future leaders learned about malaria from ExxonMobil Doctor Ken Lindemann and shared ideas about fund-raisers they could host in their local schools. The Nuggets challenged the kids with trivia questions on how bed nets prevent malaria and the winners got FREE tickets!
Sadly, I lost basketball knock out to an eight year old - but overall, it was a great event.
