Tanzania
Together with UNHCR, we have identified 4 camps in Tanzania with the highest number of deaths from malaria and most immediate need for bed nets for its refugees. Setbacks in the political situation in the neighboring countries of Burundi and the Democratic Republic of Congo have delayed the repatriation of refugees currently living in Tanzania. And those that are able to return home find it incredibly hard to earn a living.
Tanzania's refugees largely come from Burundi and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
