Uganda

Together with UNHCR, we have identified 11 camps in Uganda with the highest number of deaths from malaria and most immediate need for bed nets for its refugees. Years of political conflict in Southern Sudan, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda has led refugees to Uganda, a country which is also home to ongoing political strife due to economic disparity and ethnic tensions between the north and south. It is currently in the midst of repatriation for thousands of refugees.

Uganda's refugees largely come from Sudan, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), and Rwanda.
