Last year, three juniors from Gann Academy—Jeremy Fein, Jeremy Perkins and I—founded a juggling club. As seniors, we decided to put on a show for charity. Having read about the problem of malaria in Africa, we decided to raise money for Nothing But Nets. Eleven members of the club worked and worked for months to prepare a carefully choreographed 12 minute show which eventually was the opening for the school musical.
We performed at all three shows, and collected a total of $2,173! The six seniors from the group continued performing at other local venues, giving a portion of the money to Nothing But Nets. We also hope to do more performances and raise even more money in the coming months, and thus far, we have raised $2,353 in total! Thanks to everyone who has supported us along the way!
